Height- 27 3/4 in (15%)
Head - can't remember... but was 80%

So, pumpkin head remains my pumpkin head.

If you want to see some super cute pics of E taken about 3 months ago visit this site. (You may have to download a free application to view...but it is worth it!) Enjoy.

Party Girl

E had an awesome sprinkler party in our backyard with friends. We had a great time. Here are some pics.

The patio and table decorations...

The party favors and ice cream cone cupcakes...

Playing with grandpa in the sprinklers, E's friend J playing in the sprinklers and kids in the pool...

Loving the cake...

Opened tons of presents...

And had a great time!

One

This is E at one year. We all know she was supposed to come in October but made her grand entrance several weeks early. We've had a great year. I don't have stats yet because our doctor was booked for a couple weeks (back to school checks). We did go in last week for sick stuff and E was 18 lbs...no front facing car seat yet!

E loves to move! There are few still moments in her life, the majority are when she is sleeping. She loves to stand. She cruises around the house as long as she has 1 hand on something. Going from crawling to standing to walking with support makes her happy. She thinks she is incredibly strong and tries to lift and hold up the heaviest objects, usually while keeping her balance. She has 2 teeth with more coming in. One bottom center and one top lateral (yes, the dentist in our ward said he hasn't seen a lateral come in before a central in his 15 years of practice). She loves to eat. Fruits, veggies, bread, pasta, cupcakes...you name it. She loves books (especially those with flaps), her new Princess car, toys that make noise, cups and blocks. She still loves electronics and everything she isn't supposed to play with. She loves to pull everything off my craft shelves. She loves to open cabinets and pull everything out onto the floor. She loves to do the laundry and vacuum. She loves to stand outside the shower door and watch you shower. She hates when dad goes to work but loves when he comes home. She is still seriously clingy to mommy. She loves all the compliments we get everywhere we go (seriously, I can't go anywhere without being stopped a million times or hearing the people next to me say how cute she is). She loves to stand on the bench at church and make everyone behind her smile. She loves to hear her voice and is in to screaming. She is super ticklish and has the cutest laugh. She loves to be chased and attacked. When she is really tired she'll roll around on you and cuddle for just a moment (love those moments!). She is a wonderful daughter and we are so happy she is ours!

Not a Baby Anymore

In 3 days I'll be the mom of a 1 year old. Not sure I believe it yet. Somehow I keep thinking we have until October. But, we have the party planned, the presents purchased and the doctor appointment scheduled so it must be real.

Here is the lute as of now (from B's family and us). Let's just say SPOILED!

I thought I'd share a little of what is going on. This last week has been hard. By hard I mean miserable! Poor E has been sick with 101 plus temperatures and no solution. She had some skin irritation from some meds that was making her really uncomfortable. She also is teething like crazy. And continuing with the unconventional way E does things, she is getting a top lateral tooth (before the centers) that is giving her a hard time. I think we're finally coming around but this was a sad pic of the sicky girl.

E has also decided that it is more efficient to crawl on all 4's rather than army crawl. Let's just say it is adorable! She is also learning to climb stairs...ready or not!

Finally, while we are talking about birthdays and getting older and all that...check these out. There seems to come a time when you look at your baby and realize she's not so much a baby anymore. These were taken tonight as we went for a stroll around the backyard.

My Worst Nightmare!

Ok...I may be a little over-dramatic on this one. But come on! Seriously? I was not going to have one of those babies.

A crib biter! Noooo! Yes, those are teeth marks. From those 3 teeth that are coming in. Doesn't she know how much we spent on that? Doesn't she know it needs to last through all her siblings?

But then who could be upset with that face?
